We make free, fair, and friendly random tools so picking a name, a team, or a winner feels easy — and honestly a little fun.
Why we built this
Teachers, event hosts, and families need a quick, trustworthy way to choose fairly. Too many tools are cluttered with ads, signup walls, or mysterious "random" that you cannot really trust.
So we built RandomSelect: open the page, add your list, and go. No account required. Cryptographically secure randomness in your browser. Tools that look good on a phone, a laptop, or the classroom projector.
Where we are headed
We want RandomSelect to stay the calm, reliable place people open when fairness matters — especially in classrooms where ads and distractions just get in the way.
That means keeping the core tools free, polishing the experience in many languages, and growing carefully without selling your attention.
What we care about
Honest randomness
Selections use your browser's secure random source (Web Crypto) — not a toy Math.random for winners. Fairness you can explain to a room full of students.
Your lists stay yours
Names and picks live in your browser. Optional analytics only load if you consent — we do not need your class list to run the tools.
Classroom-friendly
No pop-up ads fighting for the screen. Fast, clear UI that works on a projector and on a phone passed around the table.
How the magic (actually) works
Each tool runs in your browser and draws from cryptographically secure randomness. Your participant list is not shipped to a server just to spin a wheel.
